The data controller for the Mr.Byte experience (the “Service”) is AIST. For any privacy request, contact art@aist.digital. We have designed the Service to collect as little personal data as possible.
We do not record or store the audio of your voice, and we do not create any voiceprint or use your voice to identify you. To run the call, your speech is converted to text. A text transcript of the conversation is kept for up to 30 days to monitor quality and safety and to improve the Service, and is then deleted.
| Data | Why | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Text transcript of the conversation (no audio) | Quality, safety and abuse-prevention, improving the Service | Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| IP address, approximate region | Security, rate-limiting, anti-abuse | Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Browser / device technical info | Delivering the page, security | Legitimate interest |
| Anti-bot signals (Cloudflare Turnstile) | Preventing automated abuse | Legitimate interest |
| Minimal server logs | Security and stability | Legitimate interest |
| Your acceptance / age confirmation | Providing the Service to eligible users | Contract / consent |
We do not build interest profiles, do not run advertising or marketing, and do not sell or share your data for such purposes.
Audio of your voice is never stored. Text transcripts of conversations are kept for up to 30 days and then deleted or anonymised. Technical and security data is likewise kept no longer than needed — as a rule no more than 30 days.
Where data is transferred outside the EEA (e.g. to the United States), the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards under the GDPR, such as Standard Contractual Clauses and a Data Processing Agreement with the provider.
The Service is intended for users 16 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly process personal data of anyone under 16. If you believe a younger person has used the Service, contact art@aist.digital and we will address it.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability where applicable. To exercise these rights, contact art@aist.digital. We do not store audio and keep only limited data for a short period (transcripts up to 30 days), so the data we hold about you is limited; you may request deletion at any time.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Cyprus, the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection — or with the authority in your country of residence.
We may update this Policy. The current version is always available on the Service.
